REASON:  Health Reasons & Discontinuing Farming.

43 HEAD OF HOLSTEIN CATTLE:

  • 37 Milk cows, 12-fresh in last 90 days, 9-due March, April & May, balance milking and bred back as explained sale day

  • 5 Vaccinated heifers, (1) yearling, (1) 9 months & (3) 4-7 months old

  • 1 Red & White Holstein bull, 17 months old, serviceable

These cattle are all home raised.  Artificial breeding has been used for 45 years, presently using Select Sires.  Some of the sires represented are:  Mathie, Harmon, Black Bart, Darwell, GenI & Shane.  Sire information will be posted day of auction.

The November milk results from the dairy are:  3.95%BF  3.11 Protein &  SCC  199,000.

These cattle are in good condition, show good udders and they are not pushed.  They will make good additions to your herd.

The cows will be pregnancy examined for the sale.
