About Us

James (Jim) Seamonson has been in the auction business since 1965. In 1985, Auction Specialists Stoughton, LLC, was established. We are a full service auction business and since opening we have always been family owned and operated.

We handle all types of auctions including Farm & Livestock; Construction; Antiques & Collectibles; Household; and Real Estate auctions (which are becoming more popular).

Jim feels that the key to a successful properly run auction is the sale preparation, displaying of the items selling and being organized.

Auctions for some can be a challenging experience when parting with possessions or selling an estate. Jim’s 50-plus years of experience, in the auction business, can help make this decision much easier and guide the seller as to what is best for them.

At the close of the auction, the seller is furnished a complete copy, of the auction transactions and the seller is paid at that time. The exception to this is a Real Estate auction, when the settlement is at the time of the closing.

If you are considering an auction, contact Jim Seamonson, Auction Specialists, Stoughton, LLC, at 608-873-7791 or by email: jimseamonson@charter.net
